Measurement for Cost and Quality ideas channel
The Measurement for Quality and Cost ideas initiative, spearheaded by Jim Easton, National Director for Improvement at the Department of Health, has been launched. It's aimed at teasing out examples of how measurement has been, and is being, used effectively within NHS organisations so examples of good practice can be shared across the NHS to spread quality improvement and cost reduction.

NICE Quality Standards
NICE quality standards are a set of specific, concise statements that act as markers of high-quality, cost-effective patient care, covering the treatment and prevention of different diseases and conditions. Quality standards on stroke and venous thromboembolism (VTE) prevention are now available.
